Your generous donation directly supports War of the Roses Theatre Company in our mission to bring quality classic theatre to Strasburg and Lancaster County areas. 

Our goal is to provide an avenue to the classics for both local artists and audiences through our mainstage productions and intimate special events. From our inaugural production of Much Ado About Nothing to our successful, sold out run of the “Scottish play” in 2025, we have seen firsthand that our community has a genuine appetite for the timeless works of Shakespeare and other classic playwrights.

With your support, we can continue to broaden our community impact by:

• Staging classic theatre productions such as Macbeth and our upcoming musical in collaboration with Historic Rock Ford
• Broadening our reach through adult and youth educational programs, such as our “Shakespeers” initiative and various master classes, to cultivate a greater appreciation for classic theater and the tools to communicate such pieces
• Hosting community-focused fundraisers, such as “Shakespeare’s Death Day”, themed cabarets, and “Wish”, a Christmas focused event which specifically supports local families in need.
